Hewlett Packard OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer [Review, bayreviews]
After using the Lexmark x75 for about a year and a half, I finally decided to buy the HP Officejet 7310 All-In-One to rid the pain of constant paper jams and lousy print quality. I had my eye on the 7310xi model for this unit for about six months before I could not live without...

Samsung SCX-4521F Multifunction Laser Printer [Review, bonafidereviews]
After reviewing Samsung's ML 2010 Laser Printer (one of their most affordable laser printers) back in January, we take it up one notch to a mid-range multifunction printer; the SCX-4521F. Priced around $199.99 USD, the 4521F takes aim at the home and small office market. The SCX-4521F features the normal "multifunctional" capabilities acting as a printer, a copier, a color scanner, and fax all inside of a relatively tiny machine. The 4521F's size measures 17.2" width x 14.7" depth x 14.5" height and weighs just under 23 lbs making it very easy to move and position. Samsung SPP-2040 Photo Printer [Review, overclockersonline]
Printing at home does have its advantages over printing from a lab,
but those advantages come with a cost, the SPP-2040 itself retails for
around 200 Canadian Dollars, while less than other printers on the market
it's not exactly budget friendly - and even more so when the consumables are
added. In comparison to lab prints, the SPP-2040 put up quite a fight;
easily crushing Kinkos, but slightly behind Blacks. Ever since the existence
of photo printers, it was widely known that printing from home would cost
significantly more per print than printing from a store, but for some the
convenience is well worth the cost. Like the printer, the included software
was packed with features, had a clean layout, easy to install and was very
easy to use. Sun, 04 Dec, 2005 | 3 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Top 10 Color Laser Printers [Roundup, PCWorld]
You could have purchased a new car for what a color laser printer used to fetch. A bargain model was seldom seen--and when such a rarity did come along, it tended to turn in lackluster print speeds. As recently as May 2004, all but one unit in our Top 10 cost at least $1600. This month, however, we tested only low-priced models, and all the printers that made our chart cost $699 or less. Our Best Buy is just $449--less than even some inkjet photo printers. Wed, 09 Nov, 2005 | 10 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Brother HL-2700CN - Colour Laser Printer [Review, TrustedReviews]
Colour laser printers are already taking over in many offices from their mono counterparts, with the average purchase price dropping. It’s not exaggerating to say that a colour laser of the specification of Brother’s HL-2700CN would have cost eight to ten times its current price just a few years ago. But how does it perform?
This is a big printer, though only printing up to A4, and is probably better installed on its own stand or table, than sat on the end of an office desk. Paper feeds from a surprisingly low capacity, 250 sheet paper tray at the bottom onto the printer’s top surface. There’s no single sheet feed for special media and you have to manually select for paper thicker than 90gsm, though the printer will take up to 210gsm. Seiko Smart Label Printer [Review, TrustedReviews]
If you have a printer which can handle several different tasks: printing text, graphics and photos on a wide range of media, why would you want a specialist printer too; one which can only do one thing? Seiko believes however, that its Smart Label Printers are so convenient, you’ll want one on your desk. There are three different models, which differ in print speed and the maximum size of label they can handle. The 430 is the top of the range model, which can print an address in around three seconds and handle labels up to 54mm x 189mm. Thu, 22 Sep, 2005 | 6 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Xerox Phaser 8550DP Printer [Review, TrustedReviews]
Xerox’s Phaser technology, bought into the company with its purchase of Tektronix a few years back, is unique among colour business printers. Unlike laser or ink-jet machines, the Phaser uses blocks of solid ink to print with. The ink is softened on a heated drum before being transferred to the paper and needs no fuser nor multiple layers of print, as a colour laser does.
The Phaser 8550DP is a big printer, weighing in at 28kg and taking up a lot of room on the desk. It has a straightforward design, including a front-loading paper tray, which can take a full ream of paper. Sun, 04 Sep, 2005 | 15 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Epson EPL-6200 Laser Printer [Review, TrustedReviews]
When you first lift the EPL-6200 from its box it looks neat and compact, but by the time you've slotted in the front loading paper tray and folded up the output tray from the printer's top surface, it loses some of its style. You can load up to 250 sheets of paper at a time and there's an optional 500 sheet tray which fits underneath, if you need more. Tue, 30 Aug, 2005 | 13 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Canon Pixma iP90 Inkjet Printer [Review, TrustedReviews]
With the steady increase in sales of notebook PCs, the demand for portable printers to take with them is also growing. Canon has just such a printer in its latest PIXMA range, the iP90, designed to offer quality print in a very compact envelope. Using a similar mechanism to that of its Selphy DS700 photo printer but with the addition of a separate black cartridge, the iP90 still ends up as a very compact unit. Brother MFC-620CN - Multi Function Device [Review, TrustedReviews]
This Brother All-in-One is more all-in-one than most. Although it has a footprint not much bigger than an A3 sheet of paper, it can print, scan, copy, fax, download your digital photos, answer the phone and make you a nice cup of camomile tea. OK, the tea’s just on our wish list, but all the other tasks are within the compass of the MFC-620CN. Sat, 13 Aug, 2005 | 15 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Lexmark Z735 [Review, TrustedReviews]
Printer owners continue to complain about the costs of consumables, such as ink cartridges and paper. Now Lexmark has set out to confound them with its Z735, an ink-jet printer that takes just one, three-colour cartridge, costing Ł13.50 a throw. The argument is that this is both cheap and simple for the first-time buyer, but are we getting all the facts, or is the company trying to resell an old idea, which most makers have since moved beyond? Samsung SCX-4720f Multifunction Printer [Review, overclockersonline]
Here at Overclockers Online, Samsung needs no introduction. We have been working with them for quite some time now, turning out reviews such as Simon's latest Samsung YH-820 MP3 player and other printer articles like Samsung's CLP-510n, CLP-550's, and the ML-2251n.
Today we will show you another category of printers called the multi-functions. Samsung offers a variety of multi-functions, but today we are going to take a look at the SCX-4720f. Mon, 01 Aug, 2005 | 16 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Samsung CLP-510N Laser Printer Review [Review, Bjorn3d]
Printers have evolved a long way since the Epson 80 dot matrix of decades ago.
Dot matrix printers are almost totally gone, and everyone seems to have an
inkjet printer these day. Inkjets are fine printers except for a few little
things: ink usually only lasts a couple hundred of pages and runs $30.00 to
$40.00 per cartridge, and the ink can be smeared if the paper gets wet. So if
you want to keep cost down, you get a laser printer. Here you usually spend
about $60.00-90.00 per toner cartridge, and they print 5,000 pages per toner on
average. The only problem has been that a color laser printer has cost
$1,500.00 to $5,000.00, or at least that is how it used to be. Over the last
couple of years, color lasers have been getting very inexpensive, and today I
am going to look at one such printer, the Samsung CLP-510N. Thu, 12 May, 2005 | 30 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Samsung ML-2250 Laser Printer [Review, Bjorn3d]
A few months ago, I reviewed the Samsung ML-1740 laser printer. Today, I am
looking at the big brother to that printer, the Samsung ML-2250. This printer
actually comes in two versions, the 2250, which is the basic printer, and the
2251N, which is the same printer but with networking built into it. Tue, 05 Oct, 2004 | 86 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
HP Photosmart 145 [Review, DesignTechnica]
The HP Photosmart 145 definitely has it’s drawbacks, including the monochrome LCD, lack of onboard photo editing tools, and a single 3-ink cartridge. But at an average price of $145 it has some appeal to users wanting an entry level compact and mobile photo printer. True to HP’s advertising, this printer is ultra-portable and easy to travel with. Samsung ML-1700 Series Laser Printers [Review, TheTechZone]
This is our second review of a Samsung laser printer. The first was the ML-1450, which we reviewed back in 2002. Now it seems Samsung has redesigned the ML-1400 series into a smaller more stylish looking package; something that would be more suitable to a home office environment. Not the the ML-1710 and ML-1750 couldn't find themselves ending up in a small office or on a small LAN. These two printers are basically heavy-duty laser printers in light-duty packaging. Samsung SCX-4016 Multi-Function Laser Printer [Review, ExplosiveLabs]
As we continue to cover some portions of the consumer electronics department bit by bit, we have begun to realize just what type of market we are dealing with. A market that is ever changing, growing at an astounding pace and creating possibilities that were never there. A market that has challenged manufacturers to create products that were once unimaginable or even necessary to produce. The products we have actually already had an opportunity to get our hands on doesn't even begin to scratch the surface or what this market is comprised of. I could begin to list just what type of products you could find in the market but I wouldn't know where to start. Wed, 08 Oct, 2003 | 77 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Samsung SCX-4216F Review [Review, ExtensionTech]
Most of you guys and gals out there in cyberspace probably have a printer, right? After all, a printer is more or less a bare necessity in today’s tech savvy world. Whether it be used to print out school assignments which you’ve been grieving over for the past week, or the past hour, or even just for the types out there who really have no use for a printer except to print out cool looking pictures (I’ll leave what “cool” means in everyone’s vocabulary to your imagination)… Fri, 03 Oct, 2003 | 214 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
