  • Logitech MX310 Optical Mouse   [Review, Guru3d]
The step up, from ball mice being main stream to optical supremacy has been a quick, yet painless evolution on our computer desktop. If many of you don’t have one, maybe now is the time to consider one. Right now, I own three optical mice, and I don’t regret it. I myself hate cleaning the ball and rollers inside ball mice, and cleaning it tends to get more and more tedious as time passes.

  • Review: MX900 Bluetooth Mouse   [Review, ExtremeTech]
With the advent of the MX900 Optical Mouse, Logitech raises the bar by creating a solid mouse that not only matches the MX700 in precision, but turns your PC into a control center for Bluetooth networking. But this alone won't guarantee success. Even with the economy starting to gain speed, it's a tough world out there for Bluetooth lovers. They're quite expensive and, by-and-large, haven't lived up to their hype.

  • The Optical Mice Rat Race Reviewed   [Roudup, TomsHardware]
The optical mouse sector has become a two-rat rat race, dominated by Microsoft and Logitech. We tested MS' and Logitech's newest and brightest gear to counter marketing hype with hard testing data. We also threw in for good measure performance results for the Razer Boomslang, touted by Terratec as the latest and greatest gaming mouse. For those of us who don't know enough about what optical mice benchmarks mean, but are afraid to ask, we have included an optical mice tutorial.

  • Giganta V-3 by Everglide Review   [Review, 3dXtreme]
Today 3dXtreme has the pleasure of reviewing the Black Giganta V-3 by Everglide. I've always used standard mouse pads in the past, but after using the Giganta for awhile now I think I've found an outstanding replacement. Before using this product I didn't think I would ever spend more then 3 to 4 dollars on a mouse pad when my current mousepad wore out, but now thanks to Everglide I found a pad that will make it hard to stray back to a cloth mousepad.

  • Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Review   [Review, HardwareCentral]
TV shows where stylish experts or snoopy neighbors redecorate people's houses are all the rage. None of them have the budget to turn your house into a multimedia techno-palace like Bill Gates's, but you can have Microsoft redecorate your desktop for $85: Those cluttery, tangly mouse and keyboard cables are so last century.

  • Gyration Ultra GT Cordless   [Review, AseLabs]
This market is filled with different types of input devices. In reality, nothing really sets one set from the other. It is innovation and ease of use that you should be aiming for in a product. The problem is, no one seems to be doing any innovation, and it also seems that companies are just trying to add features without thinking of how easy those features are done. This brings us to the Gyration Ultra GT Cordless Suite. Now, I have already seen the quality of the Ultra Cordless Mouse, so let's see how the suite is.

  • Saitek Optical Mouse Pro   [Review, Gruntville]
The common PC mouse, one of the most relied upon input devices in use today. We all have our own tastes when it comes to the flavor of our mice. Some like three buttons, some five; some prefer a scroll wheel while yet others would rather thumb a ball. It’s hard to come up with a device that will appease us all equally. This is why some manufacturers have started to incorporate “gimmicks” or extra features into these little plastic rodents. Saitek is one of these companies. Their two latest attempts to capture our attention are the TouchForce and Optical Mouse Pro. Today we will be pushing their Optical Mouse Pro around our pads to see what it has to offer the average Gruntville reader.

  • Steelpad 4s Professional Gaming Mousepad Review   [Review, 3dXtreme]
Today 3dXtreme has the great pleasure of reviewing the Steelpad 4s Professional Gaming Mousepad. I find reviewing a mousepad difficult to do. I mean what can I really say about a mousepad that will communicate the experience of something as minute as a mousepad. I can't see spending much more than a few bucks for something so irrelevant however as a gamer I've come to realize that the mouse and the mousepad I'm using can actually make all the difference in the world. In the past I've worked as a Desktop Editor and using a mouse with a ball is really difficult when precision is required. They are inaccurate, sloppy and after extended periods of usage they cause my arm to ache. I now only use optical mice and I feel that once a person uses one there is no doubt an optical mouse is superior for it's accuracy, fluid tracking and precision.

  • Everglide Ricochet 2.52 mouse pad review   [Review, thathertz]
This truely is a Pro-Gamers mat. The price tag is high and the looks aren't too appealing but this is not what pro-gamers are looking for and is not what Everglide wanted us to expect. This is not and everyday mouse mat. If you are looking for a good surface and do not care about the money buy this mat,

  • Black Icemat Mouse Surface   [Review, BigBruin]
Precision mouse surfaces are now available in a variety of shapes, sizes, and textures to meet the demands of graphic designers and gamers of any skill level seeking every advantage possible. The Icemat mouse surface is a rather exotic offering in the field of choices for two reasons... Every one is shipped directly from Denmark to your door, and the entire mouse surface is constructed of glass.

  • Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0   [Review, HardwareZoom]
Microsoft is another well-known manufacturer for input devices. Their Natural Keyboard was one of my favourite a few years ago, it has an ergonomic design and arched shape that reduces strain on my wrists and allows me to type naturally and comfortably. Wireless keyboard and mouse are nothing new to Microsoft too, in this review, we will take a look at the latest addition to the Microsoft Wireless Family - the Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0.

  • STEELPAD 4S PROFESSIONAL GAMING MOUSEPAD   [Review, TweakNews]
Today I will be reviewing my introduction into the high performance gaming mousing surfaces, the SteelPad 4S. Now as most people cruise the net for high performance gaming videocards and monitors to help them be their very best at gaming, sometimes the simple solution is overlooked. I myself prescribed to the thought train of "It's only a Mousepad" or "This is not going to do much to help me..". After the initial setup and testing, boy, was I wrong......

  • X-trac Optical Mouse Pad and Eels   [Review, Hexus]
Surely all mousemats are the same? It’s just a surface for the mouse to glide across. Well depending on who you speak to you could find yourself in a huge debate over this question. If you asked a bunch of gamers they would argue the fact that mousemats make a hell of a difference in gaming. Speed, Response, Accuracy. Many games players already use “performance” mousemat’s such as everglide, ratpadz, etc.. But which one is the best? We’ll I suppose this is down to a personal preference. I’ve used various mousemats before and to be honest it’s a very close battle.

  • Logitech Cordless MX Duo vs Logitech Freedom Optical   [Review, HardwareZoom]
The very first generation of mouse by Macintosh has only one button, a few years later we starts to see 2 buttons mouse for Microsoft Windows. Since accessibility is the main concern for input devices, more keys and buttons are necessary to allow fast access. Very soon we started to see scroll buttons and shortcut keys on mice and keyboards. Users soon found that corded mice and keyboards are not presentable and occupied space as well as limited by distance and entangle easily. Mice and keyboards continue to evolutes and cables are replaced with infra-red, however there must be a direct "line of sight" between the IR receiver and transmitter, finally radio technology and Bluetooth are implemented to solve the above problems.

  • SteelPad 4s   [Review, ByteSector]
The SteelPad 4s is a unique blend of style and design packed into a single mouse pad. The mousing surface itself is quite large (290mm x 257mm). This can be an advantage in most situations, but when space is an issue, this particular pad may not be the most convenient to have around. The rubber feet keep the pad in place and almost never slip even on the slickest surfaces. With the rubber pads the pad is merely 3.5mm thick. Because of the thickness, you can barely tell that the mouse is on a pad at all. The only thing to give it away is the cool feeling of an aluminum plate touching your wrist. One of the most unique features we have seen is that at the surface of this pad is a smooth aluminum plate.
