  • 6 Intel 875P Based Mainboards Roundup   [Review, Digit Life]
The i875P chipset has strengthened the position of the most efficient solution after almost two months of its existence, and now it keeps on carrying the baton taken from the i850/E in detour of the iE7205. But its market position is not clear as compared to the previous chipsets developed for workstation/enthusiasts, and even the AGP Pro port, a traditional accessory of the workstation class which often came with iE7205 based boards...

  • MSI K8D Master-F Opteron Motherboard First Look   [Preview, amdzone]
Other than Newisys no other motherboard maker has gotten their Opteron solution to market, or even to us to test. Tyan and Gigabyte can't seem to get a board from us so we have seen only the Newisys board and the Arima along with a rebadged Arima from Iwill. Will MSI has finally answered the call and given our 242s a place to stay with their K8D Master-F.

  • ASUS P4P800 Deluxe Motherboard   [Review, Hexus]
Our first foray into the performance Springdale chipset unearthed a few surprises. It seemed to be stupendously fast when set to SPD (DDR-400) timings at 200FSB, comfortably beating the Canterwood into second place. Secondly, it's an FSB monster. 285FSB came and went with utter stability; a testament to Intel's impressive engineering prowess. Fast and relatively inexpensive, just how we like it.

  • EPoX EP-8RDA3+ nForce2 Ultra 400   [Review, Hexus]
The 8RDA3+ is still an excellent foundation on which to build an AMD powerhouse of a system. Its considerable merits outweigh the slight qualms we may have. It's fast, it's stable, and it literally begs to be overclocked. Pricing seems keen too. We've seen it available for less than £100 delivered. That's good value considering exactly what you'll be getting for your hard-earned cash. It seems as if EPoX can do little wrong with their nForce2 boards. Recommended.

  • Shuttle AB48PN i845PE 800FSB   [Review, Hexus]
In summary, a stable, potentially fast motherboard that should appeal to system integrators and budget-orientated enthusiasts. A little voltage adjustment and a slightly better package would have made it that much more appealing.
