Dell Axim X50v [Review, HardwareHell]
It seems that life keeps getting faster. There is more to see, more to do, more
to schedule and more places to be. If you are not careful, you are likely to
end up forgetting you’re scheduling over the more to do and then find yourself
in a very deep hole, with still more to do. Fri, 11 Nov, 2005 | 3 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Palm PDA Swaps Wi-Fi for Storage - Palm T|X [Review, PCWorld]
Palm's new T|X sacrifices some of the storage and processing power of its predecessor, the Tungsten T5, in exchange for Wi-Fi and a lower price. The result: More bang for the buck.

Aside from its blacker case and slightly brighter screen, the T|X looks and feels like the T5 (both have the same 320-by-480-pixel screen resolution). The $299 T|X lists at $50 less than the T5, and it has Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth. Sat, 05 Nov, 2005 | 1 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Top 10 PDAs [Roundup, PCWorld]
Four of the five products in our Microsoft Windows Mobile category are new since we published our last chart in December 2004, and they pack some interesting entertainment options. The top-ranked Dell Axim X50v comes with a dedicated graphics chip and Windows Media Player Mobile 10, which plays music from select subscription services. The second-ranked Asus MyPal A730W includes a 1.3-megapixel camera. Hewlett-Packard's fourth-place IPaq Rx3715 can wirelessly access music and some video stored on a networked PC; and Garmin's IQue M5, on the chart at number five, doubles as a GPS device. New Hewlett-Packard iPAQ Pocket PCs Coverage [Article, RojakPot]
I happened to be in Penang when Hewlett-Packard invited members of MyPDACafe and iPAQClub to the launch of their new range of Pocket PCs. So, I tagged along for the ride and was able to check out the new HP Pocket PCs. Unfortunately, I was only able to make a short news blurb because I was travelling up and down quite often after the launch. However, today, I will correct that with a full article on the launch as well as specifications of the new HP Pocket PCs. I will also add some of my opinions of the Pocket PCs, based on the short time I had to test them. Come and check out the details of the new iPAQ Pocket PCs! HP iPAQ H4150 Review [Review, digital-deity]
Originally released back in November 2003, HP’s iPAQ H4150 was the first PDA to offer both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in such a compact form factor. Only now, as it nears the end of its life, are we beginning to see comparable products emerge from rival manufacturers. So, let’s see if the H4150 is still a contender. Review: Tapwave Zodiac PDA [Review, ExtremeTech]
The marketing pitch behind Tapwave's new Zodiac handheld is that it's a Game Boy Advance for grown-ups. To some extent, this is true, but at $299-$399 retail, it hardly sports a kid-friendly price tag (unlike the sub-$100 GBA). And it may look a lot like a portable game console, but it's actually a full-fledged PDA running on modified PalmOS 5.2. The Zodiac's closest cousin is actually the Nokia N-Gage, another big-boy toy with a big-boy price. But while the N-Gage and the Zodiac target the same demographic, cost hundreds of dollars, and play games and digital music, the powerful Zodiac is infinitely more useful and better justifies its steep cost. Palm's Power Lineup [Review, PCWorld]
If you're wavering between a Palm and a Pocket PC for your next PDA, Palm makes the decision even harder with innovative models that address prior products' weaknesses. I tried out shipping versions of the $399 Tungsten T3 and the $199 Tungsten E, as well as the more consumer-oriented, $99 Zire 21. (If you need Wi-Fi and/or phone capability, none of these Palms will be a good fit.) Sun, 26 Oct, 2003 | 27 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
After the Mypal A600 PDA: Does Asus' Mypal A620 Represent a Worthy Encore? [Review, TomsHardware]
Following the splash Asus' Mypal A620's very long-battery life and top-rate features made in the PDA marketplace, what does Asus do for an encore? The company has attempted the seemingly impossible by trying to make its new PDA more powerful than the model it replaces while slashing its price tag. Can they really pull this off? The Next Generation: HP Ipaq H2210/H2215 [Review, TomsHardware]
The H2210 is the first in the 2000 series and marks the end of the Ipaq 3000 family. Based on a new Xscale PXA255 processor and Microsoft's new PDA operating system, Windows Mobile 2003, HP claims this model offers more power and longer battery life. But many PDA makers have made similar boasts. Mon, 15 Sep, 2003 | 148 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

SooperDooper iPod Case [Review, Envynews]
Now, we all know that hard disk based digital audio players usually cost an arm and a leg. Well, thankfully many firms out there provide added protection when toting your player around. Thats music to Apple iPod owners since the players - although very attractive in design - are particularly subject to surface scratches and minor damage. We have reviewed a bunch of Apple iPod carrying cases to date, but today we look at a top-notch non-leather offering from Waterfield designs. Fri, 29 Aug, 2003 | 118 Click(s) | Detail

VAJA I-VOLUTION i-Vod 3G [Review, Envynews]
What happens when you take an Apple iPod and Argentina's best leather and combine them into a sleek yet stylish case? You get an i-VOD of course! It's the new craze - a case that looks as good and functional as the item it envelops and protects, and VAJA has the magic to deliver every time. We recently reviewed a VAJA case for the original 5 and 10GB iPod, but with Apple's newly refreshed '3rd-Generation' iPod, case-makers had to redesign them for the new style of controls, the thinner and more rounded player appearance, and other finer elements.

Bellagio Axim X5 Flip Style [Review, Envynews]
We spend tons of hard-earned coin on portable gizmos like high-end phones, PDAs, MP3 players and the like - yet, most of these firms do not include a case, and the unit ends-up mingling with change and keys in our pockets. Thankfully, companies out there do offer both low-cost and high-quality protective cases. One of these is Bellagio Designs, and they have awesome PDA cases! Lynch's New Love - HP iPAQ 2215 [Review, ExtremeTech]
The 2215 felt immediately comfortable in my hand. And, weighing in at 5.1 oz., it was extremely light - much lighter than my clunky, old 3835 (6.7 oz plus the weight of the cover sleeve). The front of the unit has my buttons and the directional pad. This new pad design was easier to use and felt much more precise. Navigating ebooks and other tasks was easy. iSkin iPod Protector [Review, Envynews]
Most iPod owners would probably agree that their MP3 player is rather unique. Announced in October 2001, the iPod has become one of the most popular portable digital music devices out there with close to 1-Million of the units sold to date. In the same tandem, an iPod owner knows just how easily the unit can be scratched or scuffed. Thankfully, ackNOWDLEDGE has their iSkin iPod Protector, which does the job for the least outlay of cash. Apple iPod [Review, Hexus]
The new iPod has improved on the previous design and got some new features. This time round, all the buttons are touch-sensitive and have been re-aligned, there's a blue backlit screen, a new dock (except the 10gig model) and a thinner design. Only 0.6 inches thick and as light as two cd cases (158g) it's already a winner, but is it really?
