Samsung SyncMaster 173B [Review, EnvyNews]
We've reviewed over a dozen LCD displays here at Envy News, and in these reviews a common trend surfaced; digital displays are good and analog displays are crap. However, today we reveal the first real analog-only display that we've come to like - Samsung's SyncMaster 173B. Yes, that's quite a bold statement and I have every reason to be so blunt and forthright. I've tried, bought, and used nearly all of them - displays from ViewSonic, Apple, Hitachi, IBM, Dell, LG, and Samsung. With every Analog (a.k.a. VGA) display, severe image issues were present, and these displays seldom stayed for very long on my work or home desk. Fri, 03 Oct, 2003 | 142 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Samsung 213T 21" LCD Review [Review, Neoseeker]
The 213T is Samsung's biggest and greatest LCD offering to date. It is a rather impressive piece of hardware if you look at its spec sheet. However, it is ever more impressive if you witness it first-hand. It is hard to fathom how imposing the 213T is unless you see it with your own eyes. Twenty-one and three-tenths inches at 1600 x 1200 resolution is an amazing feat to observe! The desktop space is more than enough for the whole spectrum of users from graphic artists to gamers to movie watchers. The 213T comes in either silver or black to suit your taste. We review the silver model, which you can see looks VERY nice. Wed, 01 Oct, 2003 | 160 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Samsung 192T 19" LCD [Review, DesignTechnica]
The Samsung 192T impressed us from the moment we turned it one. The .264mm pixel pitch allows for sharp vibrant text and fluid animation. Unlike most LCD’s, we had to actually keep the sharpness setting lower to avoid pixilation on the 192T, a sure sign that LCD technology is advancing. The 250 cd/m2 brightness and 750:1 contrast ratio means you can wave goodbye to the washed out displays of the past. Even in direct sunlight, we had no readability issues. The 192T features Magic Bright technology, allowing you to switch visual settings for any type of media at the push of a button. This serves to relieve eyestrain when viewing text, and make colors appear more vibrant during movies and other visually rich media. Relisys TL761 Review
Relisys have done a great job with the TL761, not only because it is a great performer in it's own right, but because it proves that you don't always need the very highest end TFTs to get a viable replacement for your CRT. If you budget allows for it, we would suggest that you look at a model with DVI, but otherwise the Relisys TL761 makes a fine purchase. Thu, 04 Sep, 2003 | 60 Click(s) | Detail

AOC LM914 19-inch TFT LCD [Review, Hardwarezone]
The AOC LM914 is a very affordable 19" LCD monitor, but from our usage, we found that the monitor is most suited for the office environment where it delivered sharp text and good overall display - especially with the DVI interface. Samsung SyncMaster 191T LCD Display [Review, Digit Life]
Last year Fujitsu released a 19" matrix, and everyone who welcomed the MVA was very pleased with that fact. It was not because of the diagonal (the matrices with a small pixel size are even preferable in some cases) - but because everything that was expected from this technology was realized...

Solarism Flex-View LM-1730 17in LCD Monitor [Review, Bjorn3d]
One of the cool things about this Flex-View design is that you can fold it almost flat and then mount it on a wall. You don't even have to remove the stand and attach special wall-mounting brackets like with most other LCD displays. But that's only half of this greatness. Just think about how easy it becomes to carry once it's folded as flat as it can go. I'm sure you LAN gamers can appreciate that, eh? Plus, at just over nine pounds, the LM-1730 is a breeze to take with you wherever you go. Fri, 01 Aug, 2003 | 66 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER 153B 15 INCH BLACK LCD MONITOR [Review, Tweaknews]
For a budget monitor, the 153B is no slouch in the feature or performance department. With a release price supposedly going to be in the US$250-$325 range depending on the retailer and availability. Add in the fact that it includes speakers and can be adjusted for longer document viewing and you would have the recipe for a smart, cost effective LCD purchase. Samsung SyncMaster 172MP [Review, Hardwarecentral]
It's handsome enough for a living room, but Samsung's newest LCD monitor can also bring the living room to your desktop -- it's a full-featured TV set, with no need for a TV tuner card in your PC, and offers an addictive picture-in-picture mix of Office and Oprah or e-mail and ESPN. Is it getting easier to justify the multipurpose display's price premium? Wed, 16 Jul, 2003 | 84 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Samsung 172B 17" LCD [Review, Extensiontech]
Although this is an analog only LCD monitor, that does not take away from how it fared. I’m not trying to be biased and saying that analog monitors are just pure crap. Before I started reviewing them I thought this was true because a few reviews I’ve read seemed to downplay them quite a bit. “No digital input” said most of the reviews and it was quite clear that’s where the monitor lost some points for the overall rating. I believe you have to judge an analog monitor based on what it will most likely be used for. Sat, 12 Jul, 2003 | 149 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
