Quote: Shortly after the finalization of the DVD-R DL standard, LITE-ON was among a handful of first tier ODD manufacturers to roll out a supporting drive, the SOHW-1693S, which has both DVD-R DL and DVD+R DL write specifications. It's quite a shame its 16x DVD±R writing did not fare as well as expected.
