Quote: It's a good thing that the Bose SoundDock offers superior sound quality because sound quality is really all the SoundDock has going for it. The SoundDock's design, while elegant, isn't nearly as functional as the Altec Lansing iM3. Also the SoundDock doesn't do anything except play music from your iPod. It can not act as a docking station to connect your iPod to your computer like the inMotion iM3 can. Also missing are any auxiliary ports for non iPod MP3 players. The SoundDock is meant for one purpose only - play music from your iPod or iPod Mini and play it at a really high sound quality level.
