Planon Docupen R700: The World's Lightest Document Scanner? : Review

Added to the directory: Thu, 04 Aug, 2005. Source: TomsHardware.

Quote: You usually think of a full-page document scanner as a tabletop device, much larger and heavier than a few sheets of printing paper. That does not have to be the case as Planon proves with its Docupen R700: It weighs a mere 2 oz / 57 grams and measures just 8 x 1/2" / 205 x 12.7 mm. That makes it about as heavy as ten sheets of standard 8 ½" x 11" printing paper and around the size of a fountain pen.
