Quote: Today 3dXtreme has the great pleasure of reviewing a new product from Thermaltake, the Silent Purepower 480 Watt Power Supply. This Power Supply features PFC - PFC stands for Power Factor Correction and can be described as using series capacitors to “remove” the effect of leakage inductance that limits the output current. PFC can provide more efficient Power Frequency; in lay terms it means less power is lost.
