Quote: The Philips company has been around since the 19th century. They are among the leaders in several techonological areas including DVD recorders, monitors, and audio/visual electronics. Philips has been in the PC audio market for three years now. Back in 2000 when we reviewed the Acoustic Edge 5.1, Philips' first stab into the market, it quickly became known as one of the best sound cards you could get ahold of. Fast forward to 2003 and we find ourselves looking at another Philips audio processor, however this time things are external.
