  • Maze4 478 Water Blocks   [Review, Ipkonfig]
Aww, ain't they cute?! Just look at those babies! Owning a product from a company like Danger Den is much like owning a trophy, but unlike a trophy--you get to take it off the shelf and play with it. Its products are, in all respects, among the best looking and designed blocks on the market. It has always been a pleasure to review the workmanship of one of its fine waterblocks.

  • Musketeer LLC-U02   [Review, Envynews]
Cooler Master makes some wicked bay enhancements; to say their designs are flashy just does not cut it. Chromed out and backlit, they are extremely hard to miss when mounted. Sleek and stylish, they not only add to the aesthetics of the machine, but provide useful information about what cannot be normally seen from the outside. The Cooler Master Musketeer is the system monitoring bay for one, and for all.

  • A Roundup of High-end SocketA Coolers. Q1-2 2003   [Roundup, Digital Daily]
Quite recently we tested a number of cheap (low-end) coolers for powerful (Barton 2000 MHz) processors. In that roundup we focused mainly on the cooler's ability to cool the processor at nominal clock speeds. In today's roundup we'll be looking into higher-end coolers while keeping the possible overclocking in mind (these are CoolerMaster Aero7 and Thermaltake Volcano 11). Along with these, we'll be testing coolers designed for maximum low-noise operation (Zalman 6000Cu and Igloo SilentBreeze).

  • Scythe Kamakaze HSF   [Review, TweakTown]
How many times have we heard some company claiming the ability to give you performance air cooling with little noise? And how many times has it ended up that the cooler was either quiet or cool, but not both? Come join Mike "Darthtanion" Wright as he delves into the Scythe Kamakaze HSF. They make these very same claims but with a difference; they managed to pull it off. Come see for yourself as we look at this new name in cooling!

  • Vantec Nexus NXP-205   [Review, Subzerotech]
Fan controllers are nothing new to today’s computer enthusiast. Though they are gaining popularity, they also have their fair share of “lemons”. Meaning they don’t perform up to par, as they may be made out to. Some caught on fire, or just shorted out when you installed certain fans or certain wattages. Vantec has been upgraded the Nexus series for some time now, and all of them have been of high quality. Now they offer the NXP-205 which is a 3.5” rheobus unit. Will this review have a fiery end? Hopefully not, but let’s find out…

  • Zalman Heatpipe HDD Cooler   [Review, Hardwarezoom]
Using heatpipes for a hard disk cooler is the first of its kind. There are many hard disk coolers in the market but those are merely small 40mm fans that draw in air to cool the drives. I have one of these too and I found that they are pretty ineffective in cooling. Worse still, the fan suck in a lot of dust into the casing even with air filter on.

  • Ahanix Iceberg II CPU Water Cooling Kit   [Review, Hardcoreware]
The Iceberg II is designed just for that; good but not outstanding performance with little to no noise. If you're looking for a silent solution for your 3 Ghz+ CPU, the Iceberg II is something you should have a look at...

  • Arctic Silver Ceramique Thermal Paste   [Review, Extensiontech]
All heat-producing elements in your computer that utilize a heatsink have some sort of thermal paste or adhesive between the chip and the heatsink. First it was the CPU, but GPU's and northbridge heatsinks soon followed. The point of thermal paste (some manufacturers use thermal adhesive instead) is to remove any air between the heatsink and chip, and filling those microscopic pockets with thermal paste is the best way to do that. Let's take a look at Arctic Silver's newest addition to the thermal paste market, Céramique, and see if it can hold up and even beat its predecessor, Arctic Silver 3.

  • Iceberg 1 Water Cooling Kit   [Review, Thetechlounge]
A good kit can cost you over 200 bucks easily. Fortunately there are companies out there that are selling kits for under $100. Of course these kits most likely won't be great performers, but they are good for those seeking quiet cooling solutions or someone just trying to get their feet wet. ExoticPC / ColorCase was kind enough to send us the Iceberg 1 water cooling kit from Ahanix. This is a very cheap kit, but how does it perform?

  • A Thought About Water-Cooling   [Guide, Overclockers]
If you're already using the best aircooling system out there, water cooling may or may not improve your temperature very much. However, it definitely WILL improve the noise level. The most efficient air cooling systems currently use very high rpm fans and exhibit loud noises. My watercooling rig uses only 2 120 mm low rpm (2000) low noise (30 dBA) fans.

  • Thermalright SLK-900U   [Review, Envynews]
Copper - the ultimate heat dissipator, short of cost-prohibitive Silver. I doubt we will see solid silver CPU heatsinks anytime soon, and as such, pricey but affordable Copper has made its stance in this business. Thermalright has been producing multiple award-winning coolers for Pentium4 and Athlon XP CPUs for a number of years with their SLK series of products. Today, we look at their new big brother - the SLK-900U.

  • Vantec 92x38mm Tornado   [Review, Envynews]
After seeing how well Vantec’s 80x38mm Tornado did, we wanted to see if that performance carried over to its larger brother: the 92x38mm Tornado. The 92x38mm Tornado is meant to do one thing, and do it well: cool whatever is in it’s path to the ultimate minimum temperature afforded by air!
