Gigabyte GV-R96P128D Radeon 9600 [Review, Pcstats]
Ever since ATi released their Radeon 9700 Pro VPU in the summer of 2002 they've taken control of the graphics card markets.Even now ATI are still firmly in the drivers seat, despite the recent release of nVidia's GeForceFX lineup. ATi knows though that no matter how fast your high end part is, it's in the budget and mainstream markets where the war is must be won. GigaCube RADEON 9800 Pro Game Buster 128MB [Review, Hardwarezone]
The GigaCube RADEON 9800 Pro Game Buster was a decently priced product, but its performance was constantly a tad slower than other equivalent products. Still, it was good enough overall to receive our 4 Stars award. Fri, 18 Jul, 2003 | 619 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Leadtek WinFast A400GT TDH 6800GT Review [Review, digital-deity]
For many gamers, NVIDIA’s GeForce 6800GT cards hit sweet spot in terms of price/performance ratio. Beating ATI’s X800Pro in the majority of benchmarks, and utterly crushing the vanilla 6800 (not to mention older 9800XT or 5950) cards, the 6800GT offers performance levels not all that far off the 6800Ultra or X800XT, but at a considerably lower price point. Today we are looking at a GT from respected manufacturer Leadtek, who have an enviable reputation within the enthusiast community for producing premium quality cards at reasonable prices. Logitech Z-680 [Review, Gruntville]
The package arrived in great condition which is amazing since it was HUGE! This is not the type of package that your wife will carry in. Once I got it lugged in the house it was time to peek inside. When I peeked inside I saw yet another box. This one had very nice box art and great details for the retail consumer; a nice way to wrap the set. Now this package was huge but the contents aren’t your average $25, 2.1 set either... Mon, 04 Aug, 2003 | 1175 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Logitech Z2200 2.1 THX Speakers [Review, Bit-Tech]
What can I say, they sound awesome. No distortion even at wife-angering levels. High, mid, and low ranges are all reproduced very well and the sound is very responsive. Given that the critical elements at play here are virtually the same as on the Z-680's that's no real surprise. Mon, 22 Dec, 2003 | 736 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

MSI Mega Stick 1 - The Mini Wonder [Review, AnandTech]
Meanwhile, there are other innovative products that take what already is and improves on it. MSI is a great example of this with their Mega Stick 1. MSI has taken a USB flash drive and turned it into a fully functional, on-the-go solution: FM tuner, FM recorder, voice recorder, MP3 player, and of course, a storage device. This may not seem like much at first, but we found out otherwise once we put it through the paces… Sat, 22 Nov, 2003 | 536 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Many of us spend the majorioty of our spare time trying to squeeze every last drop of performance out of our computer systems. NorthPole vs. ZM-NB47J [Review, bit-tech]
40mm fans are the bane of my life, I'm not sure what their life expectancy should be, but if my experience is anything to go by the answer is around a quarter of a year. If your northbridge cooler, like mine, is making far more noise than it should because its fan bearings are failing, or perhaps it's given up all together, then you'll be looking to replace it. In this here review I'm going to be looking at two such replacement northbridge coolers, a passive solution from Zalman and an active solution from Microcool. On with the show... Hyundai ImageQuest Q17 Review [Review, digital-deity.net]
In conclusion, the Hyundai ImageQuest Q17 is an outstanding monitor, with a very good warranty. In terms of performance, only its scaler lets it down, but this is hardly something that should put off prospective buyers. Our main criticism is that Hyundai could have shaved a little off the price had they left out the speakers and USB hub, but were there any such thing as a Digital-Deity.net Seal of Approval, the Hyundai ImageQuest Q17 would get it. It’s just that good. Fri, 02 Apr, 2004 | 691 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Large Screen LCD Gaming Arrives : Viewsonic’s VP201B [Review, GamePC]
Out of the blue, Viewsonic releases the VP201 series of LCD monitors, boasting pixel refresh rates of 16ms average with a native 1600 x 1200 resolution, all packaged in an extremely thin and attractive bezel. Our first thought - too good to be true. A lot of companies have claimed similar specifications, but none have delivered performance from what would expect from a 16ms screen in reality. Amazingly, Viewsonic has not only delivered the first truly gamer-friendly large screen LCD display, they've created what may the flat-out, drop-dead, bar-none best LCD monitor we've ever had the chance to look at in the labs. Intel's Pentium M 1.4GHz processor [Review, Tech-report]
I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Pentium M 1.4GHz-powered notebook for a few days, and I ran it through a gauntlet of performance benchmarks against my own Mobile Pentium 4 1.8GHz laptop. What's the Pentium M all about? Can it perform enough work per clock cycle to make up for a 400MHz clock speed disadvantage? Read on to see. Fri, 01 Aug, 2003 | 701 Click(s) | Detail

Gigabyte GA-7VT600-L [Review, Mbreview]
This board offers up some decent performance, managing to best the A7V8X-X across the board. Chris found that this board allowed him to overclock his XP farther than he ever was previously able to on any VIA based motherboard! If you're in the market for an cheap, but effective KT600 motherboard, you'll want to take a look at this review! Mon, 28 Jul, 2003 | 1128 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Linksys 10/100 8-Port VPN Router (RV082) [Review, TomsHardware]
The Linksys 10/100 8-Port VPN Router is an extension of the popular Linksys router line, but adds some higher-end features that make it suitable for bigger tasks than just hooking up your home to the Internet. Hitachi Deskstar 7K250 [Review, StorageReview]
Since the days of the lowly Deskstar 5, IBM's ATA drive line has always vied for the desktop performance crown. If not the outright speed leader, Big Blue invariably was a close second. Landmark drives include the Deskstar 14GXP which, along with the Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 2500, holds claim as the first 7200 RPM ATA drive and the Deskstar 75GXP, whose five-platter design delivered a then-unprecedented 75 gigabytes of capacity mated with blazing fast performance.
