Sunbeam Transformer Case [Review, Bjorn3d]
It is hard to imagine that once computer cases were all beige and dull. Today
you actually have to look hard for a beige case, and most cases now have one or
more cool feature that makes it stand out. The case I’m reviewing today makes
you think of the old Transformer comic, and it is no surprise that the name
reflects this – the SunBeam Transformer. Tue, 01 Mar, 2005 | 33 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

ATXPowerSupplies 753AB Chassis Review [Review, ExtensionTech]
This case has a simple look that I thoroughly enjoy. It is two-toned and it is not wild in colors or designs. It makes for a distinctively elegant look. The only thing that could be classified as even mildly different would be the weird window-style clear plastic chunk around the power/reset buttons and the LED’s. It’s not quite a window; all it shows is a section of the outside of the case. But it does add to the overall look of the case while in keeping with the more subtle overtones the case gives off. Thermaltake PurePower 680W Power Supply [Review, Bjorn3d]
After you stop drooling at the thought of having dual video cards in an SLI
setup, you come to realize some practical concerns. Cost is the most obvious
one. Most of us struggle to pay $450 for one video card, but spending $900 to
$1,000 on two is just ludicrous to many people. Beyond the cost though are
other important concerns, like power requirements. More and more power supplies
are including the new 6-pin PCI Express power connector, but I have only seen a
couple that offer two such connectors. I happen to have one of them for review
today -- the Thermaltake 680W Silent PurePower power supply (W0049). Sun, 16 Jan, 2005 | 78 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Cooler Master Centurion 5 [Review, legitreviews]
Cooler Master did a wonderful job with their tool-less design, both locking
systems did a great job securing their individual components without issue and
made installation a breeze. Their new design, with the individual covers
secured by screws instead of plastic clips also ensures that your new case will
keep its clean, undamaged look for as long as you own it. Tue, 11 Jan, 2005 | 79 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

A New Flip On A Desktop Design : Silverstone’s LC11S Case [Review, GamePC]
The Lascala LC-11, which we'll be looking at today here at GamePC, features a slim form factor which is roughly one half of the height of the LC-10. With the case being so short, component cooling becomes extremely tough, especially when you factor in the ever increasing power consumption and heat production factors of today's high-end CPU's and GPU's. Some of Silverstone's own slim desktop cases in the past have suffered from heat relatied issues, which is why we were originally leery of this new design. There are certain brands or companies people usually turn to when they want a
certain level of quality in a product or service. When it comes to aluminum PC

the aluminum case market for quite a few years now. The company recently
released its newest line of cases - the V-Series. However, its older lines of
cases are still readily available and worth consideration from anyone wanting a
high-quality case. Mon, 20 Dec, 2004 | 49 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Chenbro Xpider II [Review, Hexus]
All in all, the Xpider II is a very solid piece of kit. It does
everything that is asked of it, and does it well - The build is sturdy,
the screw-free drive bays and PCI/AGP slots are easy to use, and there
is plenty of nice attention to detail in the overall layout, from the
drive rails neatly stored at the bottom of the case to the positive feel
of the push-button panel to access the front USB ports and the like. The
side panel window is the perfect example of this thoughtfulness in the
design process - The option of having a window into the case which can
be covered with the provided tin plate inside for those of us ashamed of
the tangle of cables within is not far short of genius. Sat, 20 Nov, 2004 | 31 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

SilverStone Lascala 10M [Review, AnandTech]
Recently, we received word that SilverStone Technology, which is one of the more popular designers and manufacturers of mid-tower cases as well as accessories such as power supplies and cooling equipment, has plans to release a new product in their Lascala line of HTPC cases, the Lascala 10 or LC10. We wanted to take a look at the new design before it was released to the world, to see what features it would bring and also to help us better understand what to look for in HTPC cases. We first looked at Ahanix's D.Vine 4 HTPC chassis last month and thought it would be a great opportunity to compare each manufacturer's take on the genre. Silverstone TJ06 Case [Review, Bjorn3d]
Let's face it: Every computer has to have a case, and cases aren't anything
new. From case to case, they are all pretty much a rework of the same basic
design. Every now and then, however, there is a product that truly stands out...
and Silverstone has done so recently with their Temjin 6 series. I must extend
my greatest thanks to Sundial Micro Inc. for providing me the opportunity to
review this product. Sat, 13 Nov, 2004 | 42 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
