FrozenCPU ATX 2.0 PSU Tester [Review, PimpRig]
When it comes to troubleshooting hardware inside your computer, any enthusiast can tell you
that any particular problem can be caused by one or more components going/gone bad. Narrowing
any problem down can be quite challenging if you do not have extra components lying around to
swap in for the suspected bad component(s). Any help one can get in troubleshooting components
is more than welcome in my eyes. Sun, 27 Nov, 2005 | 6 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Ultra X-Finity 500 Watt ATX Power Supply [Review, PimpRig]
The other thing that caught my eye, the cabling. There were no red, black or yellow wires
anywhere, and this is not a modular unit with sleeved cables. The cables themselves offer the
new idea from Ultra called, FlexForce Cables. Sun, 27 Nov, 2005 | 8 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Cooler Master Centurion 531 ATX Case [Review, PimpRig]
The case I am reviewing today comes from Cooler Master. A trusted name in the computer
industry, not only for cooling, but now coming with more varied items to add to their product
line. This particular case I am looking at is the silver Centurion 531 without the window or
power supply. In addition to the window and PSU several other options can be added; a black
finish with or without the window, and an additional 120 mm fan in back. Sun, 20 Nov, 2005 | 17 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

The CM Stacker returns to our labs, but this isn't the original that we reviewed previously. E-Power Tiger 550W (EP-550P5-T1) Modular PSU [Review, PimpRig]
How does it compare to my old Antec True 480W PSU? Using the recording feature on the Asus
Probe software, I compared both units under no load (for 5 minutes, right after booting) and
under gaming load (10 minutes, Battlefield 2 single player mode). Both the Vcore and the +5V
fluctuated within the same range for both units, but the ePower seems to provide a more stable
+12V and Vcore than the Antec PSU. Wed, 16 Nov, 2005 | 4 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Lian Li PC-777 Aluminum Case [Review, overclockercafe]
The field of computer case manufacturers is broad to say the least. Out of all these manufacturers, one name rises above the rest and is the yard stick to which other computer chassis makers are measured against. That very recognizable name is Lian Li. To celebrate being in business for over 20 years as well as their market position as number one, Lian Li has released an anniversary edition case. This case is meant to celebrate Lian Li's legacy of quality and innovation. How better to do this than with something quite out of the norm. The Lian Li PC-777 anniversary case is a full server sized chassis shaped with a conch shell type swirl with mesh covered side panels bearing out its design all the more. The people from JCL Company have been good enough to hook us up with Lian Li's anniversary creation so we can have a good through look. Without further delay, let's do just that. SilverStone SG01B [Review, AnandTech]
With the special niche market that Shuttle has created pretty much on their own due to the release of the XPC series, a myriad of other small form-factor PCs have sprung up all over the place. Not long ago, we examined the well-designed X-QPack by Aspire, and found that for people interested in the portability and flexibility of a smaller PC, there was really a lot to appreciate in that enclosure. Silverstone LC17 [Review, overclockersonline]
The SilverStone SST-LC17 is an attractive case. For an HTPC/desktop
solution, it offers very competitive cooling and does this well right out of
the box. What it could stand to improve on though is the interior
arrangement by either going to a micro ATX only design (and then rearranging
the layout) or increasing the length one or two inches. Anyone who tries to
take advantage of the full expansion capabilities of this case are likely to
run into some frustration along the way. Sure things will fit, but it isn't
exactly easy sometimes. Wed, 02 Nov, 2005 | 44 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Ultra X-Finity 500 watt PSU 2nd Generation [Review, hi-techreviews]
Did they ever stop and think that perhaps the power supply they had was marginal at best when the computer was operated at its normal speed and just completely winnied out when the system was overclocked? People just don't seem to realize that the power supply that ran that old Duron so well for 4 or 5 years just is not going to cut it when you slap a new motherboard into that box of yours.
What you need for today's motherboards is a power supply like we are reviewing today, The Ultra X-Finity 2nd Generation 550 watt power supply has more than enough muscle to handle about any task you toss at it. XG Ninja 2 Case [Review, thinkcomputers]
Well, Today I have another review for an Xgbox product, the last few reviews I did of Xgbox products were power supplies, today I will be taking a look at one of their new entry level PC Cases, the Ninja 2. Xgbox has gotten some great scores from Thinkcomputers in the past for their great products, will the Ninja 2 keep up with this tradition? The Ninja 2 is inexpensive, considered an entry level gaming case, but it has many features of the more expensive cases out there. Xgbox has a great reputation so far for their great products, and I have to say from my first impression, the Ninja 2 looks to keep that reputation. Thermaltake Tai Chi Aluminum Extrusion Case [Review, HotHardware]
The Tai Chi Aluminum Extrusion Case is a new addition to Thermaltake's line of enclosures. Built out of extruded aluminum, this tower has looks that kill, tons of room and it manages to stay light-weight in the process. And it's no mistake that Thermaltake named the case "Tai Chi". The case echoes the philosophy of the ancient Chinese concept that believes in a balance of mind and body. With balanced air flow, good looks and support for the ATX and BTX form factors, the Tai Chi is a well balanced case that is quiet, attractive and ready for today's and tomorrow's technology...
