  • Aerocool ExtremEngine 3T   [Review, pro-clockers]
Aerocool is one of those companies that are taking the enthusiast market by storm. Their coolers have being a big hit over the last three years or so. I remember using their HT-101 in many system buildups I have done. But now their cases are making a big splash just like their heatsinks. Boasting a 25mm side panel fan and also a 14cm front facial fan, the Aerocool ExtremEngine 3T is extreme.

  • 5 Power Supplies Get the Full Juice Treatment   [Roundup, tomshardware]
Our live stress tests last year served to weed out which PSUs were good for the electronic waste dump and which units merited a closer look. The drop-out rate of 32% also demonstrated that the underlying quality of power supplies isn't as great as many vendors would like us to believe.

  • Silverstone SG01 Evolution Review   [Review, pro-clockers]
There are a lot of us out there that would rather have a small form factor case than some gigantic tower taken up all the room on or underneath our desk. Here is when the SFF systems come into place. This is a place where Shuttle has reigned supreme for some time. But for those that have the time and the ability to customize a system to their own personal liking enter Silverstone. The reputation of Silverstone is that it is one of the best case manufacturers around. Sleek and classy lines have always dominated all of their towers and enclosures. Putting classy lines and SFF together we have the SG01 Evolution.

With mass availability of enthusiast friendly mATX motherboards, the next problem comes down to the enclosures. • Antec NeoHE 430 Watt   [Review, overclockersonline]
Antec has once again lived up to its reputation by delivering an excellent product that performs as expected. The voltages are bang on and the noise is non-existent. While modular power supplies aren't the most popular scheme around if you intend on using all of your cables, it's great for those looking to get into the HTPC and small form factor cases where space is a premium. It is also an easy way to buy a power supply with all the cables sleeved for a nice and tidy appearance.

  • HTPCs: Choosing the chassis   [Article, tbreak]
HTPCs seem to be getting more and more popular by the day and while one route to take is to buy a SFF from Shuttle or MSI, lots of us like to build everything from scratch. Since an HTPC generally resides in your living room, it is important for it to look and feel like the rest of your home theater system. Thus, most of the chassis designed for HTPCs are usually the horizontal desktop type with dimensions that match the width of amplifier or a DVD player.

  • OCZ Modstream 520W   [Review, hardwareasylum]
So let me get this out of the way first: this powersupply is gorgeous. Drop dead gorgeous. The graphite-metallic paint is astonishing, with a reflection so faultless you could probably pick your teeth with it, should you ever feel the need. Beyond said matters of hygiene, the Modstream 520 also employs a large and quite quiet 120mm fan with blue LED backlighting. Not entirely passe yet, the effect is pleasing to the eye and more importantly, showers the rest of the case with the cool ambiance.

  • Silverstone Zeus ST56ZF 560W   [Review, overclockersonline]
When it is all said and done, the SilverStone Zeus ST56ZF is a very solid offering. The package is top notch with very little chance of damage being done to the unit during any amount of transport and the power supply inside is just as good. In addition, the quality of the cables is excellent, with clean heatshrinking and artistic cable tying. Another nice feature of this power supply is that the length of the cables should allow this power supply to be used inside of any case no matter how big. If you noticed in the testing photo I have the power supply a good 6 inches lower than the desk that the motherboard is sitting on and the cables reach to all connections on it quite easily. The cables are also quite easy to maneuver, twist, and bend in order to go where you want.

Enter a new case design from NZXT called the Lexa. Many of you may have seen cases by NZXT before, and I know what you are thinking.... another anime or robot inspired case, right? Wrong! This case actually looks classy enough to be used on an executive's desk at some unnamed law firm.

  • Thermaltake Pure Power PST 520W (Power Station)   [Review, overclockersonline]
The Thermaltake Power Station is a new idea and it is nice to see TT coming up with something other than a basic modular design. Did TT implement it well? I think they did. If you are looking for the newest of new technology or a chance to clean up a relatively full case, then the Power Station is definitely for you. I honestly think this idea may catch on and we will witness other manufacturers come out with similar products. I, however, really don't see how they could improve upon the design of what TT has done here with the 520W Power Station.

  • Gigabyte 3D Aurora GZ-FSCA1-AN Aluminium Case   [Review, PCStats]
While fancy plastic and steel cases are now the order of the day, aluminium cases still have a high-end niche in the market and have retained a lot of their initial cachet (and high prices; aluminium is not cheap). Gigabyte seems to have a hand in every conceivable PC market these days, and cases are now no exception. Today we'll be looking at the company's first stand-alone computer chassis, the high-end Gigabyte 3D Aurora aluminium case which is designed to especially accommodate watercooling systems. Let's see how it measures up.

  • SilverStone LC16M HTPC Case Review   [Review, Bjorn3D]
Media PCs and home theater PCs (HTPCs) are more popular than ever, and their popularity seems to continually increase. HP has sold a ton of media center PCs over the past year. Many of us won't buy prebuilt machines though; we only build our own, usually to save money, use better components, or have fun. The DIY (do-it-yourself) HTPC crowd tends to be a very discerning bunch. They want very specific features in their TV tuners, sound cards and cases. When you build a PC with certain purposes in mind, it requires more careful planning and consideration. With HTPC users in mind, SilverStone continually adds to and refines its Lascala series cases in an attempt to create perfect HTPC cases. SilverStone has had quite a bit of success so far, especially considering the company is not even three years old yet. When creating its latest cases, the LC16M, LC17 and LC18, SilverStone used feedback from actual users to come up with designs to meet the various and unique needs that HTPC users have. In this review, I'll cover the LC16M, which is an attractively styled HTPC case that comes in both black and silver.

  • Thermaltake Swing (VB6000SNS)   [Review, CaseModGod]
Time for another case review and today we are going to take a look at the Swing case from Thermaltake. This case resembles the look of the Tsunami and Soprano mid tower cases. The Swing has a stylish front panel design which leaves some room for the modders out there. In the time spent writing the review I have already had several ideas that a modder could do to the case to make it their own.
