  • Aspire 500W Dual Fan Aluminum Power Supply   [Review, EnvyNews]
After a bout of power supply reviews here at Envy News, such as Enermax’s workstation offering, followed by SeaSonic’s Super Silencer, PC Power and Cooling’s TurboCool 510W, then topped off by GlobalWin’s SAF420 Power Supply; Aspire International Corp. decided to join the party after they supplied us with their Silver X-Alien Aluminum Case. This black 500Watt, dual blue-LED fanned power supply sports a clear cover to show off it’s innards to the hard-core modding enthusiast. Other than the 4 blue LEDs in each fan, other custom touches include green UV-sensitive plugs, UV-sensitive power switch, and green UV-sensitive sleeving on the main power wires.

  • CMI Cool Dog Case   [Review, AseLabs]
It has been awhile since I last reviewed a case, and I usually accept items for review if requested by a company. This is the case with the Cool Dog case that I have here today. With a low sticker price for this case, let's see how it can stack up against other budget cases.

  • Enermax CS-30881TA Case   [Review, Bit-Tech]
A while back Enermax sent us their yellow case. That was a very unique model, mainly because of the color and quality of the paint job. Well, they've sent us another model that has less of a "racy" persona - more of an "elegant" one. And it's not just looks with this case - it's packed with features. This is the CS-30881TA, part of their "fan control" series cases. I know what you are thinking (even that thing about Catherine Zeta Jones...sicko), there are a lot of cases with this particular look out there in the market now and you yawn. Well, this case does have a lot of similar elements to other cases and some dramatic differences that set this case apart from all those others. A lot of these differences are cosmetic and very subjective, others are not. We will be sure to cover both.

  • Aspire ATX-AS500W See-Through Power Supply   [Review, SystemCooling]
For a long time, the lowly power supply was one of the most-neglected pieces in any modded box. Not so anymore, as sleeved wiring, LED fans, and other modifications have become increasingly popular. The power supply we're looking at today, the Aspire ATX-AS500W, includes all of these enhancements and more. It's undoubtedly built to look great, and by the end of this review, we'll know if its performance can keep pace with its appearance.

  • Fong Kai USA FK-330 Steel Case   [Review, Overclockercafe]
Well, I've been here at the Cafe' for a little more than a year now and in that time I've reviewed many cases. From big honkin' full towers to itty-bitty little things; steel case, aluminum cases, economy jobs and cases complete with all sorts of bells and whistles. The one thing I've noticed is that every manufacturer has a different idea about what's going to work. Thanks to the generosity of the good people over at Fong Kai, we've got a chance to take a look at their FK-330 steel mid-tower case and see what they got cooking under the hood.

  • Coolermaster Centurion   [Review, Hexus]  Most popular reviews and articles
The past few weeks we have seen the release of a few new products from Cooler Master. The main products being 2 brand new cases. These are named the “Cooler Master Centurion” and the “Cooler Master Wave Master”. Giving the cases a name as well as a model number seems to be a growing trend with Cooler Master after the release of the Cooler Master Black Widow.

  • Thermaltake Xaser III Lanfire Series Case   [Review, CoolTechZone]
Thermaltake and the quality of their products are not unknown to most of us. They have engineered some of the best yet expensive cases in the market. Thermaltake is one of the few companies that pay close attention to every aspect of the product that includes shipping boxes, a well-designed website, easy to understand installation guides along with other such factors that make the product worthwhile to purchase.

  • Advance A320B ATX Case   [Review, Hexus]
Over the past 2 year's at HEXUS.net I have reviewed about a dozen computer cases. Mainly these have been the famous aluminium Cooler Master or Lian Li cases. A couple of week's ago I received an Advance ATX case. The Advance A320 case is made by a Taiwan company called Chyang Fun. Chyang Fun has started to become rather popular lately with the release of their SFF PC's such as the e-Note.

  • Aspire X-Alien Case   [Review, SubZeroTech]
The Cheiftec made a great impact on the world of cases, and how they were to be made in the future. From the general layout, to the swinging doors, the same design is replicated throughout many cases on the market today. Some companies are able to pull it off with a little something extra, and some are left to shame with a generic look. Aspire is no “noobie” to the computer environment, and are known for high quality products. Today we’re going to go in depth with the X-Alien from their series of “alien-like” cases. The case looks like a knockout, but will it be a mere Chieftec wannabe, or make a name for itself?

  • Raidmax ATX-868WBP   [Review, Monster-Hardware]
Looks are everything, especially when you DON’T have the fastest pc at the LAN party. A case is the most visible part of your computer, and it should have some style. An enclosure should also have great functionality, allow for expansion and make you the envy at the next LAN bash. Today we check out the Raidmax ATX-868WBP from Extremecase. (Note: the Raidmax part number and the Extremecase.com part number are different)

  • Thermaltake Purepower 560w PSU   [Review, OverclockerCafe]
Power supply units have really taken on some attention over the past year. Triple fans, quad fans, LED fans, automatic speed control, manual fan speed control and on and on. Lots of attention to the fans if you hadn't guessed already. Some other areas of power supply units have gone without that same attention to their finer details until now. Thermaltake has brought out the latest in their Purepower series. The Purepower 560w PSU looks not only at providing lots of stable juice but at bringing lots of useful extras to the table. Here is a quick run down of the Tt Purepower's specs.

  • Antec Minuet Case   [Review, Bjorn3d]
Have you ever thought about the name of your case? Most are some series of numbers and letters, but not so with Antec's LifeStyle series cases: Sonata, Overture, and Minuet. All of these refer to aspects of classical music. In particular, we’re looking at the Minuet case Antec sent over for review.

  • Antec TrueBlue 480   [Review, Gruntville]
It’s hard to come up with an opening statement about PSU’s that hasn't been used over and over and over again. I would hope by now that if you’re building your own machine; Overclocking or adding lots of modifications you know that a PSU is the life blood of your machine. If the PSU is weak, your machine is going to be weak. Over the last year I have been thru 3 different PSU’s. The first, an Antec 350w was a good PSU but right off I knew I was going to need more power. So in Feb I came across a killer deal on a Thermaltake 420, and while that worked good for awhile it started to show signs of faltering. After I added my Raid array, when my Raid was accessed my CCFL’s would flicker. Then the Raidmax came in for review and that didn’t go as well as expected. Which leads me to the newest PSU to get a thorough inspection from us here at GruntvillE; the Antec True Blue 480w. Lets see if this is going to cut it for me, and possibly for you.

  • Aspire USA X-Alien Aluminum Case   [Review, OverclockerCafe]
In retrospect it only makes sense. Not too long ago we reviewed the X-Super Alien Case from Aspire. I should have guessed then that if there is a Super Alien then there must be a regular Alien around as well. Aspire has taken their X-Super Alien case and trimmed out some of its features to bring a more economical but still feature packed case to the market. Pretty much the only difference between the X-Super Alien and the X-Alien is the power supply, integrated rheobus and removable front grilling. We'll look at each of these in time here. We want to first thank the folks at Aspire USA, the makers of this series, for sending over one of their X-Alien cases to make this review possible. As with most reviews, let's start off with the specs.

  • Global WIN YCC-1101 Micro-ATX Case   [Review, SystemCooling]
It seems like in the last few months we have been seeing more and more Micro-ATX cases popping up. Many case manufactures are either adding these smaller size cases to their product line or expanding what they already have. But they are not just simply adding those plain boring beige cases that most of us have grown to despise. They are creating cases that rival their ATX big brothers in looks and features.

  • Allied Power Supply Model AL-B500E   [Review, BigBruin]
Available online for $62.95, its price and performance are quite attractive as compared to some of the other brands that may have a more familiar name. Although I generally look at power supplies for their performance alone, the fact that Apex didn’t comprise the technical specifications in order to make it visually appealing is just the icing on the cake.

  • Aspire X-Alien Case Review   [Review, 3dXtreme]
Today 3dXtreme has the great pleasure of reviewing the Aspire X-Alien case. This is the budget version of the Aspire X-Superalien. The lack of LCD temperature monitor, fan bus and inclusion of a 420 watt power supply (vs. the 500 watt modded PSU included with it's older brother) bring this case to the market for around $100.

  • AOpen A600 Aluminum Case   [Review, OverclockerCafe]
Whenever the subject of aluminum cases comes up the first thing I think of is "Lian-Li". I am well aware of the fact that there are more case manufacturers out there than you can shake a stick at, but the first aluminum case I ever owned was a Lian-Li. But the first P4 motherboard I ever got my hands on was made by AOpen and to be honest I never realized that AOpen made cases, and certainly not aluminum ones. So when the powers that be, informed me that I'd be getting my hands on an aluminum case from AOpen, I'll have to admit I was quite surprised. Before we begin, I'd like to thank AOpen for the opportunity, especially since it's a first for me. And now, ladies and gentlemen, I present you with the AOpen A600 midtower case.
