Shuttle SN45G [Review, Hardocp]
The SN45G is Shuttle’s latest creation based on the nForce2 Ultra 400 chipset. The NVIDIA nForce2 Ultra 400 chipset offers support for all AMD processors including their line of 400 MHz FSB processors. The chipset also continues to support DDR RAM spec’d up to PC3200 operating in Dual Channel mode. As is common in the SFF (small form factor) arena, the SN45G is a feature complete solution featuring everything needed to get started with the exception of processor, memory, and drives (hard drive, CD-ROM, and floppy). Shuttle's XPC SN45G mini-barebones [Review, Tech-report]
SHUTTLE'S XPC LINE of ready-to-build XPC systems has been selling like crack-laced hotcakes since the introduction of the first model, the SV24, back in 2001. These mini-PCs have many merits, thanks in no small part to Shuttle's program of constant improvement and willingness to listen to feedback. Our review of that first SV24 system called for an AGP slot, support for Athlon processors, and a low-noise fan configuration. Tue, 08 Jul, 2003 | 291 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Shuttle SN45G nForce2 Ultra 400 XPC [Review, Hexus]
Another addition to the rapidly expanding Shuttle XPC family has just been announced. Shuttle must just love it every time a chipset manufacturer decides to upgrade their range. This should entail a 'brand-new' Shuttle every few weeks, and all Shuttle have to do is place a revised motherboard in to the standard XPC chassis. The rest of cube generally doesn't need to be modified much, if at all. Wed, 02 Jul, 2003 | 122 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
ECS EZ-Buddie [Review, Digit Life]
ECS barebone system we are testing today is the least radical among its siblings that we have recently tested. This is an ordinary 'tower', though a small one. It can take no other positions but for the vertical one and supports mATX mainboards which can be standardly attached to the PC panel. MSI Hermes 845GV Barebones [Review, Hexus]
In short, a featured, well-designed base unit with a number of possible uses. The business sector will appreciate its versatility, but it may well get shunned by the enthusiast crowd for not being equipped with an AGP slot. Horses for courses, as always. Thu, 19 Jun, 2003 | 168 Click(s) | Detail
Shuttle SB61G2 [Review, Hardocp]

Shuttle SN45G SFF First Look [Preview, amdzone]
Shuttle has followed up their SN41G2 with the SN45G based on the nForce 2 Ultra 400 chipset. We enjoyed their SN41G2 which is based on the nForce 2 IGP chipset, but the SN45 goes without the integrated video which cuts costs, and support for 400MHz FSB Athlons is added. VIA EPIA M10000 [Review, Hexus]
What do we think overall ?. The EPIA line is all about progression. The latest EPIA M10000 proves that a system doesn't require superlative performance to be a viable proposition for some users. We've seen it on-line for around £125. That kind of money would almost buy you an nForce2 IGP board and an XP1700 JIUHB. The latter combination would stomp all over the former from a benchmarking perspective. That, however, would be missing the entire point of the EPIA M10000. Shuttle SB61G2 Springdale XPC [Review, Hexus]
Performance-wise, the SB61G2 didn't disappoint with a discrete Radeon 9800 Pro hogging the AGP port. Performance was just where we'd have put it beforehand, that is, sandwiched between the Canterwood and i845PE (200FSB) chipsets. The very fact that such performance can be attained from such a little package is a bewildering thought. You can add whatever extra the cube doesn't feature by utilising the single PCI slot. Hush Technologies Mini-ITX PC [Review, Hexus]
First impressions count for a lot and with the Hush I wasn't disappointed, the system came in a well packaged and protected box. Opening up the box for the first time I was very surprised when I took the Hush out, it was a very solid piece of metal giving an impression of excellent build quality. The cooling fins on the sides are especially sturdy chunks of aluminium. Wed, 30 Apr, 2003 | 214 Click(s) | Detail
