Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P72 Digital Camera [Review, TheTechLounge]
Today we will be taking a look at the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P72. This is pretty much the middle-of-the-line camera in the Cyber-Shot 'P' series of cameras from Sony. The DSC-P72 sports 3.2 MegaPixels and a 3x Optical Zoom as well as Smart Zoom. Another nifty feature of this camera is its ability to shoot VGA movies (640x480) with sound. The length of movies you will be able to record will depend on the size of your memory stick. With the included 16MB memory stick, you can record ~ 45 seconds of video. Canon PowerShot G5 [Review, Digit-Life]
This is a new camera from Canon, with the design close to the G3 and with a 5Mp matrix. The matrix remains of the same size - 1/1.8" (7.2 X 5.3 mm). The increased number of pixels doesn't necessarily results in better visual quality. Since every pixel gets smaller, the requirements for the lens are higher. The reduced square also makes the camera less sensitive. Forced sensitivity increased noise. Nevertheless, it looks a successful solution, though I can't call it semiprofessional. It's like saying that Leiña is not a professional camera as it's not a reflex one. This camera is not small and it's comparable in dimensions with film rangefinder models. Argus DC3810 Camera [Review, Nextgenelectronics]
At a list price of $499 this is the least expensive 5.0 mega pixel camera on the market. The saying “you get what you pay for,” holds strong with the DC3810 from Argus. Though there are many manual features that you would expect in a high-end camera, the construction and efficiency of the camera is sub-par.. Fuji FinePix S2 Pro Camera [Review, Digit Life]
The S2 PRO is a new model (2002) in the professional line of Fuji's digital cameras. They cost like 6Mp reflex cameras from Nikon and Canon, and have a twice greater frame resolution. The Nikon D100 looks too miniature (its case is partially used in the S2), while the FUJI looks too big. Sun, 01 Jun, 2003 | 13 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
Minolta DiMAGE F200 Camera [Review, Digit Life]
The Model F200 is an "arithmetic mean" of Minolta's DiMAGE F line. Minolta DIMAGE F300 Camera [Review, Digit Life]
Minolta has replaced its Dimage F100 launched less than a year ago (March 2002) with F300. The first thing catching the eye is a larger resolution, but later it turns out that it's not so important. A 5Mp shot of the new model measures 2560 x 1920 against 2272 x 1704 and 3.95 Mp of F100. Mon, 10 Mar, 2003 | 19 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Canon PowerShot G3 [Review, Digit Life]
The Canon PowerShot G3 extends the series of G1-G2, as well as forms its own line. It covers IxusV3, S45 and Ds1. The new line uses a high-performance processor DIGIC (DIGITAL IMAGING CORE). In fact, one DIGIC chip controls the whole cycle of creating a digital image: reads data from CCD, sample them, record into the buffer, processes image and compresses into JPEG, controls operation of a CF card and display, auto exposure systems, focusing and white balance (metering for auto white balance covers several thousands of pixels).
