  • Asus EN6600GT Silencer Videocard Review   [Review, PCStats]
Building a quiet PC is a difficult task, but not impossible if you know where to look for the right parts. The Asus EN6600GT/Silencer/HTD/256M/A offers users an excellent mix of performance from its GeForce 6600GT core and silent operation thanks to its passive heatpipe cooler. The videocard is based on the GeForce 6600GT core and is backed by 256MB of DDR3 memory. The card sports dual output with a pair of DVI/analog connectors. There is also a DVI to analog converter in the package for dual monitor users. If you want to build a quiet HTPC machine, the Asus EN6600GT Silencer/HTD/256M/A also supports component (Y, Pb, Pr) output.

  • MSI NX6800GS GeForce 6800GS Review   [Review, tbreak]
Although nVidia has cut the number of pixel pipelines from 16 to 12 and Vertex Shaders from 6 to 5, the increased efficiency in the architecture allowed them to increase the clock speed from 350MHz to 425MHz.

  • EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GTX BlackPearl 512MB - Full Review   [Review, Hexus]
The EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GTX BlackPearl 512MB is faster out of the box than the XFX, overclocks further and does it all quieter, cooled by a decent and easy-to-fit watercooling kit. The choice of fittings and tubing diameters means that it should be an easy integration into an existing watercooling setup, too. So what's not to like, from what's current the fastest retail consumer graphics card on the planet?

  • NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX 512 Preview   [Preview, Bjorn3D]
Although the GeForce 7 Series has been very successful so far, we all knew NVIDIA was keeping something up its sleeve to respond to ATI's 512MB Radeon X1800 XT. Many of you probably already know the name of NVIDIA's response (a.k. a. NVIDIA's new flagship card) and might even know what it looks like. Well, today is the official day that we can tell you all about it. Get ready for another hard launch as NVIDIA continues the trend it started to end paper launches, and say hello to the GeForce 7800 GTX 512.

  • Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO² and GTO Ultimate Edition Review   [Review, Beyond3d]
Although ATI finally announced their latest series of boards with the X1000 series earlier last month, the high end X1800 was very much delayed from its expected delivery time, and as such ATI had to rely on their older high end boards a while longer. However, with suddenly unexpectedly high yields, and an unfavourable competitive environment, suddenly a glut of chips were on hand, more than they could reasonably move. From these chips new, cheaper products were formed in the shape of the 8 pipelined X800 GT and the 12 pipelined GTO. Here we take a look at the last hurrah of ATI’s X800 series with two GTO products from Sapphire; the Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO² and X800 GTO Ultimate Edition both have the same basic specifications, but are both catered towards distinctly different users.

  • S3 Graphics ChromeS20 overview   [Preview, Hexus]
S3 Graphics has the potential, if executed perfectly from both hardware and software viewpoints, to seriously challenge NVIDIA and ATI's dominance in the midrange 3D market and become the third major player in the sector. Only time and a complete review of the ChromeS20-series will tell if it's achieved it. We await a hands-on test.

  • XFX 7800 GT SLI Review   [Review, Bjorn3D]
When video card shopping, many people look at a card's core and memory clock speeds, the included bundle of software and accessories, and the warranty among other things. More than ever before, NVIDIA's board partners are offering out- of-the-box, warrantied overclocks, so checking out clock speeds is worthwhile. More important to many consumers, though, is the warranty. XFX not only offers factory overclocked cards, but it also offers an exclusive Double Lifetime Warranty on 6 and 7 Series cards. The company also packs in some nice bundles with its cards.

  • 7800 GTX with 512MB at bit-tech   [Review, bit-tech]
We think it is fairly safe to say that this video card is the fastest video card on the planet with no exception to that fact. In newer DirectX 9.0c titles that have come out over the last few weeks and months, we have seen that the GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB is considerably faster than the Radeon X1800XT 512MB.

  • Albatron GeForce 7800 GTX   [Review, overclockercafe]
Albatron was kind enough to send over their version of this monster which doesn’t stray too far from the NVidia reference design. In our initial tests of the Albatron 7800 GTX, we were confronted with a problem we didn’t expect. That being of the speed of this card outstripped our test bed. While our AMD Athlon 64 3000 processor isn’t state of the art, it was still hard to think in terms of its being a bottleneck. In part because of this and of the shifting nature of graphical benchmarking, we had to rethink and rework our video card testing process to better address end user gaming over just a rote frame per second score. This review will shift our testing away from traditional FPS testing of old to that of smoothness of game play. We will explain our new methodology later in the review. First, let’s have a look at the specifications and the physical presence of the Albatron 7800 GTX.

  • GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB (SLI)   [Review, guru3d]
Greetings and salutations my hardware lovin' friends. Yes yes yes, silly season is near. It's getting closer to Christmas and manufacturers are refreshing their product line-ups from top to bottom with new products. ATI recently released their all new XK1 series of graphics cards and NVIDIA.. well NVIDIA just waited to see how ATI's products would perform. NVIDIA figured hah .. we have, performance wise, an answer for any of ATI's new products, so they released a GeForce 6600 256 MB gDDR2 to match ATI's x1300 cards, then they released the magnificent GeForce 6800 GS to match their top mid-range products, and with great success. And today, the answer to ATI's x1800 XT is presented, the GeForce 7800 GTX 512 MB.

  • NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX 512 MB Preview   [Preview, HardOCP]
Up until now, the GeForce 7800 GTX 256 MB GPU has been NVIDIA’s top of the line offering. This GPU has proven itself many times over by providing a great gaming experience in the latest games. Over a month and a half ago, ATI announced their new top of the line GPU, the Radeon X1800 XT 512 MB; this GPU is now finally available. The Radeon X1800 XT has all the latest features, Shader Model 3.0, HDR with Anti-aliasing and comes with 512 MB of GDDR3. Our gaming performance comparisons showed that it was very comparable to the GeForce 7800 GTX 256 MB GPU. In some games, the X1800 XT came out on top; in some games, the GeForce 7800 GTX outperformed the X1800 XT; in some games, both cards performed equally well. Neither one really stood apart from the other in terms of the game play experience. Just like the GeForce 6800 versus the Radeon X1600 XT, it didn’t seem like NVIDIA really needed to release anything new to compete well. However, the NVIDIA of late is not one to simply clutch and grab to maintain their late-round lead; instead, they have been very aggressive by continuing to take the fight to ATI.

  • NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX 512: More Than Just More Memory   [Review, AnandTech]
This card should have gotten a different name. With hugely increased clock speeds, more memory, a beefy heatsink (the one used on the Quadro FX 4500), and a new board layout, the GeForce 7800 GTX 512 is one very powerful card. Oh yeah, and it's got more RAM too. Earlier this month we started seeing ATI's new Radeon X1800 XT show up for sale. Today, ATI's high end part gets some revamped competition from NVIDIA's new offering. And even though we don't like the name, the 7800 GTX 512 is an excellent performer. Will the increased core and memory clock speed be enough for NVIDIA to topple ATI's high end monster? Will the additional memory make a tangible difference? The answers may not be as straight forward as they could be, but we were certainly excited to get our testing done and find out.

  • NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB Performance Preview   [Preview, firingsquad]
Last June, NVIDIA launched the GeForce 7800 GTX, the company’s first GPU to be built on NVIDIA’s second-generation shader model 3.0 architecture (dubbed CineFX 4.0) and the first product in the GeForce 7800 family. Thanks to its brand new G70 graphics core, the GeForce 7800 GTX delivered considerably more performance than any other graphics card on the market, often outperforming its predecessor, the GeForce 6800 Ultra, by a factor of two.

  • Nvidia GeForce 7800GTX 512MB and Sapphire Radeon X1800XT 512MB   [Review, driverheaven]
Its just over a month since ATI launched their X1800XT. The X1800 was ATI's response to the very successful Geforce 7800GTX which Nvidia launched in June, and has since become a part which has proved very popular in enthusiast circles. For a very long time there were a lot of rumors that the X1800 would feature 24 or 32 pipelines when launched by ATI and completely blow the GTX away however such a part never became a reality and instead the product ATI launched was a 16 “pipeline” part with architecture and clock speeds which allowed it to exceed the performance of the 7800GTX in most titles, though not by a huge amount it has to be said...

  • NVIDIA's GeForce 7800 GTX 512 graphics processor   [Review, techreport]
This new 512MB version of the GeForce 7800 GTX, you see, doesn't run at the 430MHz GPU and 1.2GHz memory clocks that the standard version does. Oh, no. This card is intended to compete with--nay, embarrass--ATI's ultra-high-end Radeon X1800 XT, the recently crowned king of single-card graphics performance. NVIDIA's not calling it an Ultra, but they might as well be, with clock speeds of 550MHz for the GPU and 1.7GHz for the memory. That, my friend, is fast. We're talking about 13.2 gigatexels per second of fill rate and over 54GB per second of memory bandwidth. Those towering specifications could allow this Bugatti Veyron of the graphics world to lay the freaking smack down on the Radeon X1800 XT. And the prospect of running a couple of these monsters in SLI captures the geek's imagination like a wayward pair of Carolina Panthers cheerleaders.

  • XFX 7800 GTX 512 Triple X Edition   [Review, avault]
I am not even going to kid you with an intro that leaves you guessing. You already know the NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX is one of the fastest cards on the planet. Its only challenger is the fabled ATI X1800 XT. I only say that because actually purchasing ATI’s flagship card is something you have only read or heard about. At this time even AVault has yet to receive a sample from either ATI or one of their partners.
