ASUS AX800PRO/TD/P [Review, Hexus]
While the price sits artificially high since it's a brand new generation of GPU and performance, even at £323 it's nearly tempting me into making a purchase of my own for my own PC. My only hesitation is with the (hopefully) imminent introduction of NVIDIA's 6800 GT variant into mass market retail. Benchmarking the 6800 GT reference board indicates greater than X800 PRO performance in a number of tests. Sun, 18 Jul, 2004 | 35 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
BFG Tech GeForce 6800 Ultra OC [Review, Bjorn3d]
Every time I hear the name BFG, two things come to mind: the gun from
Doom/Quake and a company that makes great video cards. BFG has been making
video cards based on NVIDIA GPU’s since the days of the GeForce Ti4600, and
after talking with their marketing folks, it sounds like they plan on staying
with just NVIDIA for the foreseeable future. This is a good move for BFG
because NVIDIA is smart enough to make sure they take care of their loyal AIBs
(AIB= Add-In-Board manufacturer). Sun, 18 Jul, 2004 | 58 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

LeadTek 6800 and eVGA 6800 Ultra Extreme: New GeForce on the Block [Review, AnandTech]
The past couple months have been very exciting, entertaining, and interesting as far as consumer level computer graphics cards go. Everyone was blown away when NVIDIA essentially doubled performance of their previous generation in their new top of the line 6800 Ultra. Shortly thereafter, we had the pleasure of discovering that this generation of graphics cards would see two GPU makers on equal footing for the first time since hardware acceleration was introduced. Each IHV has strong points and weak points, but the overall picture is surprisingly balanced. Sun, 11 Jul, 2004 | 147 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail
ATI Radeon X800 XT (PCIe) Review [Review, Beyond3d]
While ATI have only just released their latest, and last, high end AGP chip with Radeon X800’s R420, they simultaneously developed R423, which is ostensibly the same as R420 with the interface replaced the new x16 PCI Express interface. Here Beyond3D takes a look at the performance of one of the incarnations of R423 with ATI’s Radeon X800 XT. Fri, 02 Jul, 2004 | 65 Click(s) | Related: Reviews or Talks | Detail

Galaxy GeForce FX 5700 LE Review [Review, Beyond3d]
Whilst the high end graphics cards announcements and subsequent (slow) releases have kept hardware enthusiasts occupied over the past few months, for most people these high end boards are of little practical interest. The vast majority of graphics board users and consumers will be looking much lower down the price ranges to get for their graphics capabilities. To this end we are today taking a look at Galaxy’s GeForce FX 5700 LE – a board priced competitively to the 5200 Ultra, but whose NV36 core has a few more advanced features. Gainward CoolFX Powerpack! Ultra/2600 [Review, Hexus]
The title of "world's fastest graphics card" is a heady one. Reserved only for the cream of the crop, the outright expensive, the downright ludicrous. When used correctly, the title often applies all three superlatives to the product in question, at the same time. Simultaneously fast, expensive and slightly ridiculous, Gainward love those attributes and apply them liberally to their flagship graphics cards in the quest for speed, speed and more speed, hopefully obtaining the aforementioned title so lovingly coveted.
