  • Asus EAX1600XT Silent Review   [Review, sudhian]
When we last looked at ATI?s X1600XT a couple of weeks ago we found it to be a competent performer in games. It also offered top-notch performance when it came to multimedia tasks such as video playback and DVD image quality. We awarded it our HTPC Approved award as we found it to be a great card for home theater PC?s. The only thing to make the X1600XT better is if it were passively cooled?which is what Asus has done with the EAX1600XT Silent. The big question is will the EAX1600XT Silent live up to its X1600XT roots.

  • Asus EAX1300PRO Video Card Review   [Review, hardwarelogic]
The world of computer enthusaists can be broken down into two different types of people: hard-core gamers, and everyone else. I don't want to categorize anyone, but it should be obvious that having a powerful graphics processor is of highest importance when it comes to gaming performance and image quality at high resolutions. For this, hard-core gamers are willing to spend hundreds and and even thousands of dollars, but for everyone else this just isn't practical. If you are not one of these hard-core gamers or extreme benchmark freaks, then HardwareLogic would like take you on a tour of a video card that is feature rich and a little more reasonably priced for "the rest of us".

  • ATI FireGL V7350 Review   [Review, sudhian]
Ever since ATI acquired the FireGL division from the former Diamond Multimedia new FireGL graphics cards are generally based on ATI?s gaming desktop offerings. Despite more vigorous driver/hardware testing and certification procedures the core architectures are generally very similar. There are however enough architectural tweaks and enhancements to warrant a separate graphics core. ATI?s latest FireGL workstation graphics card is based on their previous Radeon X1800 consumer graphics card. Positioned as an ultra high end workstation graphics card the new FireGL V7350 is set to take on NVIDIA?s Quadro FX4500 ultra high end offering, but does ATI?s latest and greatest have what it takes to do battle with NVIDIA? Enter ATI?s $2000 FireGL V7350 workstation graphics card?this time with 1GB of video memory.

  • eVGA e-GeForce 5500 FX 256MB AGP Graphic Card   [Review, bayreviews]
I just upgraded the video card for one of my oldest clients about two weeks ago with this decent eVGA GeForce FX-5500 (256MB) card. This card is basically an overclocked version FX-5200 that is a bit faster. This card is simple, cheap, and you will be able to play some of the good games that are available today at low settings; it also has a lot of standard nVidia features like dual monitor... • MSI NX7600GS-T2D256EH (GeForce 7600 GS 256MB)   [Review, hardwarezone]
You are right to have thought that the GeForce 7600 GT is the rightful 'successor' to the GeForce 6600 GT. But NVIDIA is not done yet and the real GeForce 6600 GT killer is none other than the GeForce 7600 GS, a card that blurs the distinction between the low and mid-range with its price and performance.

  • ASUS EN7800GT TOP Silent Review   [Review, Beyond3D]
It is to this demographic that ASUS have targeted the subject of today's review - The GeForce 7800 GT-based EN7800GT TOP Silent. As many AIBs have been content to provide passively cooled solutions based around low and mid-range parts (often with slower clock speeds than their actively cooled counterparts), the creation of a silent part based around a high-end SKU such as this one is a true rarity for this generation of graphics card. Naturally, creating a high-end board such as this utilising passive cooling is quite a challenge, so let's see how ASUS have fared in this intriguing venture.
