SilverStone SST-ST60F 600Watt Modular Power Supply

Looks like SilverStone has finally jumped into the modular power supply battle with a nice entry — the ST60F: http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-60f.htm. The ST60F is looking like a monster: 600W, SLI ready, quad +12V rails, quiet 120mm fan…

I’m glad the connectors on the PSU are flush with the rest of the casing. I don’t like it when manufacturers design them so that they are sticking out, like Antec’s Neo. I’d like to know if the cables are wrapped or not. SS’s product images don’t really show the cables much. They don’t look wrapped, but I hope they are. I think we all prefer that nice, clean look… or maybe you prefer to wrap your own… I don’t; I’m too lazy. ;)

Here are some quick features and comments from SS’s site:

Quad +12V rail for superior performance
Modular cables include dual PCI-E
Powerful & quiet running 120mm fan
Industrial class components
Support for ATX 12V 2.01 & EPS 12V

Taking the modular power supply design to the limit, the ST60F combines a core based on the highly acclaimed Zeus ST65ZF and a quiet running 120mm fan to create a truly fantastic package. With 600W of continuous power output at 50°C, it is the industry’s first EPS12V modular power supply and also an excellent choice for high-end desktop systems with dual graphics cards. Housed in an all new environmentally friendly casing and offering the highest number of cables of any power supplies in its class, the ST60F is without a doubt, the new benchmark for enthusiast power supplies.
