Naruto on Toonami and not Adult Swim?
Okay, so I might be wrong on my last post… Naruto will be on Cartoon Network but it might be the afteroon schedule - Toonami - aimed at kiddies getting home from school instead of Adult Swim - obviously aimed at adults who have nothing better to do than watch cartoons. No offense, since I’m one of them … I love Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
So, many viewers are pissed that CN is putting Naruto on Toonami and not Adult Swim. There’s even a petition out to get CN to switch it to AS! Heh, people and the Internet. I think people are afraid that Naruto will be more edited and watered down if on Toonami.
My take: either way it will get crapped on more than likely by the typical quick dub job that sullies anime in America. Why do people who already watch Naruto and know how good it is really think that it will be sooo much better on AS than Toonami? Gimme a break. There haven’t been decent dubs since Cowboy Bebop.
