First Look at Dell XPS 600 SLI System at Bit-Tech
Bit-tech.net posted a quick, first look at Dell’s latest and greatest gaming machine — the XPS 600, which is one of the first non-Intel chipset boards to grace a Dell system! At the heart of the XPS 600 is nVIDIA’s nForce4 SLI X16 Intel Edition chipset. The “X16″ refers to the fact that nVIDIA’s updated SLI chipset features two full x16 PCI Express slots. SLI originally functioned by using two x8 slots.
The XPS 600 will definitely be nice machine, as it is one of the best-looking Dell boxes I’ve never seen. Not that it looks a whole lot different than previous XPS’s, but this one is still awesome in terms of power… dual-core Intel CPU and two overclocked 7800 GTX video cards. It should rock and make plenty of customers happy.
