Dell Expands XPS Line

Not sure how recent this is, but I just noticed on Dell’s site that the company decided to expand its XPS line-up.

Instead of just one XPS, gaming desktop, Dell now has three very different offerings: XPS 600, XPS 400, and XPS 200. They go down in size and power. The XPS 600 is the same machine I mentioned before that offers nForce4 SLI Intel Edition with dual GeForce 7800 GTX’s.

Why go XPS? Here are some of Dell’s reasons:

1. Embrace Power
Indulge in the raw power and superior style of XPS. Take advantage of cutting-edge technology to drive all your PC needs, from e-mail and Web surfing, to multimedia and gaming.

2. Embrace Confidence
XPS customers recieve 24/7 white-glove service from highly trained XPS experts. No matter what your needs, we’re here to help - all day, everyday.

3. Embrace XPS
Dell XPS offers more than just high-performance PCs, Dell XPS offers complete PC and entertainment solutions, and your experience begins the moment you consider choosing XPS.

Overall, I think it’s just product repositioning and trying to make certain models stand out more and seem more enthusiast-oriented… and to make buyers more enthusiastic.
